Well ive had an LS1 SS and 2 other Lt1's and now im on my 4th camaro. Im just curious with the mods in my SIG will i be able to keep up with an LS1. My LS1 felt like it had better top end power and i can trade this one in and just buy an LS1 but after the problems i had with my 01 SS i just went back to an LT1 motor and figured ill just mod it up. In the future i will plan on doing 1.6 RR's or 1.7's not sure yet on that but the rest ive already installed or im about to, i know with nitrous i dont have much to worry about unless its a supercharged or nitrous LS1. What are your experiences going up against an LS1 car with your LT1.

 

LT's, catback, and a cai make LT and LS cars even. Keep the LT and mod it.

 

Equally modded LS1 and your in trouble, a stock LS1 and you should be fine.

Put your car on a diet and get your car to hook and you'll be able to handle most mildly modded ls1's.
