not really - the answer to your question lies in the answer to this one: is the cam lobe then available in a catalog so that the really ill-informed can ask for it too?

I picked my cam out of a pile in the corner.....I just keep switching them til I find one that runs good. Sand the rust off and let her eat


Rich told you everything you needed to know....noone is designing lobes..... for some old pc. *** hunk a junk small block in a slow car....... You get the lobes they pick and everything else they pick...if they pick out a book or whatever. Noone is inventing new lobes not for this.

I'm not to happy with being called an ***, so I'm out of here......going to the spongebob forums where they keep it civil

Go into any racers shop.....Look at how many camshafts they have with just 5 or less passes on them.

I know one guy he has a whole room full of stuff.......always swapping cams or converters,
