Question What lt1 parts can be used in a first gen small block?! ---

I decided to sell my 96'z28 and ditch the le2 setup. I already had all the parts, so now I am wondering which parts I can use on my 67'rs 327 build.

I know the heads, cam, opti, and intake setup are lt1 specific ... and the pistons since my bore is smaller on the 327 cant be used.

Can I still use the 6" h-beam rods, 1.6 roller rockers, and 3.750 eagle forged stroker crank?

I have the 125 shot zex lt1 specific nitrous I will let go of also , but I am not sure if I should cryo and nitride the stock 327 crank and use it for quick revvvs vs the stroker. Stock its forged, and its the rarer small lobe crank. With the stock crank should I use 5.7 or 6.0 rods (what would the difference be, just added compression due to the quench being smaller?).

Thanks for the help, I am bummed about having to sell ... but I dont need all these cars. I was looking forward to the le2 build ---

I would put the 327 up and not use it.
if it is a 67 it has small journal rods and the mains are smaller than the lt1. so technically nothing will work
find a early 70 to 74 pickup 350 and put your stuff in it

what is a small lobe crank?
forgot about 1 piece seal

Forget "cryogenic" parts treatment. I may have some use in a part specifically designed and specced for it, but not for what you are describing. For nitiriding, by the time you pay for inspection, cleaning, and possibly re-grinding and the nitriding, you could buy a new crank. For a street engine, more cubes are always better and nearly always for a race engine as well if the rules allow it.

Yes, you can reuse bottom end components from an LT1, but if the crank is for a 1pc. rear seal, you can't use it in early block. And, of course, the journal sizes have match up. So, it sounds like the only part you can re-use are the rods (and the pistons if the bore is right), if you have a small journal block. Why not find a newer 350 block and go from there? There are (literally) millions of them out there. In fact, why give up the LT1?

You guys got the wheels turning in my head. I have tossed around the idea of throwing the le2 in the 67' because you can get an lt1 pretty cheap now-aday.

I meant small journal ... sorry I put small lobe, lol.

Its the original block and crank, so I sorta wanted to keep it in the car. I dont have anywhere to store it. THANKS A TON guys ... I appreciate it ---
