i dont know for sure about pcmforless, but Ion at madtunerz will send you one (with an additional 100$ downpayment), and you can then send your old PCM back to him for and get the 100 back

OK i contacted Ion from madz28, waiting for a reply on that. I guess a tune won't be a bad thing to do anyway, considering the range of things it can update and improve The car is atm built to work on 87-91 octane afaik, and here we have 95-100 only...

I've found the pacesetter header + y pipe for 500$, with armor bla blah so that's about what i'm going to go for. I'm guessing apart from some error codes, i can install it and see about the PCM tune after.

Any other cost efficient upgrades you guys recommed i could do, without going too deep inside the engine and keeping it streetable

Ion from madz28 highly recommends for cost efficiency i get a OBD1 swap for 250$ as without that, without mailing my PCM back and forth from Romania to US and back, i won't be able to update my OBD2 pcm.

I guess it's a good idea if you keep in mind possible future updates too which can be done over the internet instead of a new mailing over and back of computers.

Ok so:

Pacesetter LT coated + y pipe 500$
PCM swap to OBD1 + tuning 250$
LT4 knock sensor + thermostat 50$ ish (do i really need them?)
Shipping 150$ ish
----------------------------------------------------
So i'm looking at ~1000$ total

Now to get the money
