What is "lobe separation?"
I have a custom cc306 on a 111LSA and other suttle differences and it lopes good enough to make the shifter shake in your hands
Everyone I know tells me it sounds like crap at idle or there is something wrong with my car since it lopes like a popcorn machine but when I rev it a few times or take them for a quick ride they end up changing their underwear and keeping quiet! Lobe seperation in a nutshell is the determination of when both valves will be open at the same time at a given RPM if I remember correctly and with a 110-112 your power curve is up higher and 114 it will be lower to a certain degree but we have hydraulic rollers and that pretty much overcomes the metal to metal contact issue that straight lifters have---less friction=more power.
