What lifters are decent lifters to run with the ZZ409 cam when I put it in? I heard Comp R's are a little better than stock but their bearings fall out on them. What lifters are most of you running?

That cam can be either be run on stock lifters or pretty much any hydraulic roller lifter that will work with the LT1. I know a couple people in my car club that are running stock GM replacement lifters on the zz409 and they seem to be doing just fine.

Is there any downside to using OEM replacements? Also, I am just curious how much of a HP gain RR give you.
