I have a buddy who asked me this question. Thought you guys could help.
He's looking for the sound of pure laud but borderline legal sounding power. Lives in Florida so cats can be removed as well.

No cops will find any aftermarket exhaust "laud". most likely, they will just give you a ticket.Originally Posted by djn

If you are talking full exhaust the loudmouth is probably the loudest. It also sounds pretty damn good on a stock car. My buddy had it for a while, but once he put on headers and an off road pipe it sounded like azz. If you wanted the loudest car possible, i would go cut out or open header.Originally Posted by BigJustinZ28

i would have to say that the dynomax bullet mufflers (the shortest ones) are the loudest. i have the hooker supercomp long tube headers and true duals with these mufflers and every one at the track thinks it open header. very very very loud. if your want someone elses opinoin ask liljay private message him he will inform you.

True Dual Bullets. Simply insane.

As for loud, long tube headers, and the SLP Loudmouth is probably the loudest. Some say it is a little "ricey" as it tends to pop and snap alot. Personally, I suggest using the stock piping, and installing a Dynomax bullet muffler, also known as the Dynomouth. Much cheaper than replacing the entire exhaust system with SLP's. Not bad for every day driving, and really gets loud when you nail the throttle.
Dynomax bullet muffler sounds like his best bet for the money. Thanks Originally Posted by SVT03

Loud mouth is loud but true duals is possible a little louder due to lack of exhaust if you use the short bullet mufflers. But the loudest would be Hooker longtubes with dual cutouts after the collectors which is basically open headers and is also not really an exhaust system.
