What kind of E.T.s???

So I've got a 94 Z-28 A4 W/a cleand out MAF, 3" cat back w/out the cat a flowmaster american thunder muffler, and a computer tune. It has stock 2.73gears in it. So what kind of times do you think I could pull in the 1/4??

You're probably 20 hp over stock at the most and the 2.73's are going to hurt your acceleration. I'd say you can get a 13.8-13.9. 3.23 rear gears are a huge advantage over those. Alot of people say go 3.73 but dont if you drive on the highway.

20 hp over stock at the motor maybe...through an auto with that ****ty of gears id give ya a 14.0-14.3

I noticed in your sig a "computer tune" is this like a hypertech or something? or a madz28/pcmforless tune?

its a madz28 and I was told by a buddy w/ a stock Z28 (w/2.73) that he ran a 14.1 and after a tune he ran a 13.9 so I was hoping for a 13.8-13.9 what kind of drop in time will I see after the 3.23s???

I say youd be lucky to run 14.00 at 100.

You never ran at a track before. Your gears suck. And the muffler is hurting you. THe only reason I have mine on there ( And yes it does sound sweet ) is because it was free. Im not argueing free 3" mandrel bent tubing. I am switching to a hooker borla corsa or gmmg this winter though. The Flowmaster is one of the most restrictive mufflers they make. I used to be all for them since they sound bad ***, but after seeing some of the before and after numbers, and how well seom of the others flow, im sorry but ...

Re: What kind of E.T.s???

Depends on the car and track conditions, see my sig for track times, lots of bolt ons and a mad z tune.

Severe wheel hop and a fuel problem and I could only for 13.8 with a BAD 2.2 60'

I used to have 2.73's and got a deal on 3.42's, if you do a lot of highway driving then thats a great gear for you.

Re: What kind of E.T.s???

Im starting to wonder why people ask what there e.t.'s and dyno numbers are going to be or what people think they would be? There are so many things that are variables in both situations its hard to even make an accurate guess. cars, weather, mods, tracks, dynos, operators, drivers, condition of the motor, tires, the list goes on and on. If you really want to know, just go to the track and the first time should be your worse time. The more and more you practice, esp. with an m6 the better you will be and the faster your times.
