I been using an Accel 300+ since '99 and I like it.Plus it fits nice under the hood on the fenderwell....Half the size of MSD, with built in adj rev limiter...

I just ordered the Mallory Hyfire VI CD. It's a great piece if you need all the options because they're all built into this one unit. Window switch, auto start retard, multistage rev limiter, Boost retard (using MAP)...and NO PILLS! Control all values via its LCD screen readout and buttons.

the accel 300+ unit looks like a good deal, I guess you get a coil with the box, and it doesnt require a wiring harness. kinda pricey though

I would recommend going with either a MSD 6AL box or a Accel 300+. Both are great systems in my opinion.

MSD digital 6AL. I bought my first one as a reman unit and it lasted about a year and a half. I have since bought a new one and love them both.

I've run both 6As and 7ALs on my cars. I had a 6A die when I had one on my Surburban. I have not had any problems mounting the 6As.
