what hi-flow cat to get?

what hi-flow cat to get?

I jsu ordered hooker catback and now I am thinking I should get a hi-flow cat. I don't now if Iwanna gut it because I heard it makes the exhust sound rapsy and popy?? also it causes a smell?
if I get a atermarkte one, what one should I go with, and wha sizeis it, 2.5 in/out??

depending on the size of your pipes will determine the in/out of the cat. carsound, magnaflow are good, I think there are minute differnces between them all. Just do a search on the web because you don't need to spend 200 dollars when you can get them for 50.
http://www.exhaustproslinc.com/magpolstains.html has some pretty good deals or you could do a search on ebay. Car sound does a good hiflow and can get them there for around $50 and I believe you want with/out air. Good luck, anyone will be better than the original.

One of the hot rod mags did a test on em,and the catco flowed the best.Random seems to last longer though from previous posts.My02

I was thinking of a third cat and catco was the one I was thinking of. It is a real good one too.

I Like my Carsound. You can see light through the cat, now that's a high flow! My car still sounds the same also, so I'm cool with the carsound.

Someone on LS1.com flow tested several cats including Carsound, Random Tech, stock, and a few others. For the money, Carsound was the best.

I can't think of any vendors off the top of my head, try e-mailing Carsound for the nearest dealer.
