What the hell am i STILL losing power from!?

Okay I bought my car as a project car back in July (dumb move, I now realize that)... I've done a tune and a swap from FMU to 42 lb/hr injectors so far. I went from 14.1@97mph to 13.2@107mph... I'm running a cam and 9 psi, desperately trying to figure out where I'm still losing power.

Here's the thing- the car is vibrating like crazy. The console and dash. At first I thought maybe driveshaft or tranny mount, but it vibrates even in neutral when I rev it. It seems the strongest from around 2500-3500 rpm but it might be my imagination, it could be all through the powerband. Now I'm thinking maybe somehting with the balancer? Somebody told me that bad plugs could also cause a vibration, but I'm a little skeptical... were they correct?

Worst comes to worst I'm beginning to think it might be engine balancing from the previous owners rebuild... he skimped on a lot of parts, and the motor was built by a not-so-well-known shop (the owner is an a-hole and a half)...

I guess I'm just asking your opinions on all of this. I really want to get this car running where it should be, I know she has a lot of potential and I want to get her there. If it is balancing, how much would it cost to have the motor torn apart and redone properly (i'm thinking too much )? And how much power would I be losing from it?

Thanks a lot fellas

I will do spark plug wires and Plugs first.

I just recently had a bad plug event and the car was shaking in all the rpms range with backfiring too..

It turned out to be a cracked inner insulator porcelain on #1 NGK plug.... I also discovered #8 spark plug wire had 4 needle size punctures on it. I did not see any sparks flashing at night at all prior to changing the wires though.

Now is is smooth again. You may wanna try doing that first.
