What the heck is an F1?

What the heck is an F1?
My car came stock with F1 stripes back in 96... I'm the 2nd owner and don't know everything about it. Does that mean I've got the F1 package? Does anyone have n e info on this?

It was a program GMPP did threw the dealers. You could get all kinds of differant performance and appearance upgrades through them. CAIs, Exhausts, stripes, GFXs. You could get the stipes alone with nothing else so it's hard to say what other upgrades it may have.

I've got a stock CAI but I'm pretty sure it's just the stock one all the Z28s came with 96+ right?
