so i got my 1995 formula check engine light checked out because my car is skipping like crazy all it says is maf fault this car is skipping backfiring and ideas?

 

So it may need the MAF sensor replaced. Need to find out why it set the code.... faulty sensor, faulty wiring, etc.

Is the SES light on constantly? Did you try clearing it to see how soon it comes back?

 

nope light goes off after awhile but i found the skipping problem thou wire burned on the header couldn't c it n the dark thanks for your suggestions thou phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thought i was going to have to send the cc306 back for a optispark lol
