I have a 94 camaro z28. With the Lt4 hot cam. I wanted to know what kind of heads would work the best with my application. It's a stock lt1 with a lt4 hot cam and all bolt ons aval. Is there any kind of heads that can push my car 400 rwheel horspower or any type of heads I can put on my car that can add some serouis horspower - MIKE

 

A4 or M6? This will make a big difference wrt how close you can get to that goal.

400 or more rwhp is going to take heads and a better cam. You can still get some great power with the hotcam and some stock heads done by someone like Lloyd or AI though.

 

One gentlemen who use to frequent this message board has put close to 650hp (NA) to the flywheel using the stock castings. I can't say how far from "stock" they are but can say they are built on the "stock" castings. I'd reckon there's a bit of potential there.

Of course I had to go another route but it'd be rather spendy for most.
