what long tube headers fit a 4th gen with a sbc engine in it i seen it befor but i dont rember the number

 

Any long tube header made for the LT1 in the 4th gen will fit a regular sbc. Both engine are sbc and share the same header bolt pattern, the difference in headers is the tube that fit different body styles.

 

i know that it is the same bolt pattern but the ports are different. the lt1 is a d port and the sbc are square port.

 

Your not gonna find headers to fit a 4th gen chassis that will match the port on the older gen I SBC. You could try putting Vortec heads on it. I beleive they have the newer ports.

The ports on my hooker LT headers are not D shaped, in fact they are rectangular. I'm sure other headers are the same either rectangular or round. Just make sure the header is slightly larger than the head port to provide anti reversion.
