what headers?
i know it has been posted again and again but i have some questions i would like to know...first off i have a a4 1994 trans am gt all it has now is lots of suspention goodies and 18 inch chrome cobra r wheels, and a 3 inch cut out, im ready to attack the exhaust now...for cat back i was gonna go with either the hooker or slp loud mouth, and im stuick on header decisions i want the car to be emmission legal still but i want long tubes...or is that a bad idea...please help im pretty torn in this decision...thanks alot guys
Re: what headers?
I suggest you check with your emissions people and see just what is legal.
It's one thing to have to meet certain emissions requirements and quite another to have to maintain the same locations for cat (s) etc.
One can usually emission tune for passing as needed, but switching the exhaust sytem configuration each time you need to pass would indeed be quite the hassle. JMHO

Re: what headers?
Well, if you're in BC you will be required to have all the emissions equipment that "originally" came with the vehicle. What you need to do is find out if that equipment can be moved around a bit. E.g, if your car came with a single CAT then you will need to have the CAT. So if your CAT is located such that LT headers will not work (if the Cat can't be moved) then you are probably going to have to go with headers that will fit with the CAT's location.
If they tell you that you can move the CAT, then I'd opt for long tube headers.
After the visual, you will need to pass the usual stuff like hydrocarbons,Carbin monooxide, oxides of nitrogen, etc. JMHO
