what happens when your 02 goes bad
I put lts on my camaro and I knew for a while that the 02s would need replaced I am trying to get the car to pass inspection with no cat but thats not easy so it didnt pass when I was driven it home it started bogging out real bad losen all power wouldnt real rev up unless I pushed the peddel to the floor almost could bad o2s cause this.
The O2 sensors help control the A/F ratio. When the sensors are bad, when the wiring goes bad, when you have exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors, or if you have excessive misfires, the A/F ratio goes off spec, the engine may run poorly and the emissions may be excessive.
But "bogging out real bad" could be related to the O2 sensors, the ignition system or the fuel system.

When my (Bosch) O2s failed, the car ran real lean; it was pulling a lot of fuel as indicated by near 108 BLMs, and needed extra throttle to accelerate. Car was 'jerky' at low throttle, and would surge during light throttle cruise. Cam surge was real bad then, too. Monitoring the 02 voltage showed the signal was not swinging high/low saveral times a second like it was supposed to. It still moved, but slower than the 10/second or so that's normal.
When you get new sensors, I recommend Delphi's. (not Delco, Delphi's will be like OEM but Delco can be a rebrand, according to NAPA.)
