What happened when your opti died?

I know alot of us have had our opti sparks die on us. What happened when yours went? Ill have to check my fuses but mine went as I was driving down the throughway and I heard a loud pop...the car then died etc and now just cranks over, and over.

So how did yours go on you?

Mine went from my water pump puking antifreeze all over it.

Also want to give Jason Cromer and Tim at Sam Taylor Buick Dealership a big appreciation. Both are great guys to work with. I ordered my opti from Jason and got it 2 days later like i requested. After i installed it, i had problems with the car starting and idling rough. So i took it out to make sure the cam dowel pin was aligned correctly, and then reinstalled with the same problems. I eventually reinstalled the old opti, which would allow the car to fire up. I talked to Jason today and he is sending me a new opti and then i can send him the bad one back. Thanks guys.

Ditto...mine died the same way. I was surprised that it hadn't bombed earlier considering the bearing was terribly loose and the rotor had eaten halfway through the cap. I switched to the '95+ style opti with a kit from Jason Cromer (cheap!).
