What happened to the Hurst rachet shifter?

What happened to the Hurst rachet shifter?
I remember Hurst was looking for a car to build a rachet shifter for and I think a boardmember let them use his car. What ever happened with it? Did they ever make a prototype shifter, is it going to be sold?
