What is a good ign. on power source?

I'm wiring up a switch panel and I want all of my switches to work on ign on. I'm running a 10 Ga. power wire to a distrobution block and then Ill route it to the individual switches / relays with smaller wires, I just need a good power souce, I know I could use the cigarette lighter but I want somthing that will take a bigger draw. There should be an igniton relay somwhere that would work better. anyone have any ideas?

Look under the dash at the wires coming from the ignition switch. They are about 10 gauge.

Orange-accessory power, has power when the key is on, goes to zero while cranking, then power comes back after cranking

Pink- ignition, has power when the key is on, even when cranking.

John

Edit- these wires run in a big bundle, coming from the steering column and there is a plug to the left of the steering shaft that is easy to get to if you drop the underdash pieces.

There's a tap in the fuse block at the end of the dash, protected by the fuse right above it. It is a spade lug, labeled "IGN" and turns on and off with the ignition. I use it for my AutoMeter instrument lights, tach, N2O relay signal power source, etc.

Crimp a spade terminal on your wire, and plug it in where the orange wire is. . That's on a 94... may be slightly different on later years. There is also an unswitched power source on the fuse panel.

Why cut into the under dash wires, when there is a source already available????
