What is going on with my spark plug wires?

I am putting the last plugs on the passenger side of the opti and for some reason the third one down keeps backing out. I put it all the way on and in about 5 minutes or less it backs its way out. All the other ones were fine and I put this one on the same way as the others. What am I doing wrong?

ERRRGGGHHH!!!! Two days of this and I am almost done!!!!

Make sure you have enough slack on the wire and make sure you are not using di-electirc grease inside the opti boot. I had the same problem with a few backing out on the passenger side.

OH S**T. I thought you were supposed to use dielectric grease on them. Now I feel really stupid. But hey I'm only 18 and just beginning to learn about cars. Can I just wipe it off?

I wiped as much as I can off the boot and it did the trick.

Well, the wire is supposed to click in. So yes and no with the dielectric grease. Only a small amount is needed. But you should put it in there. Helps to keep water out.
