I know this belongs in the drivetrain section but i posted there and i get no replies.


So please just help me out, im about to head out to the shop and need to know what gears i should get. I have the 3.23's


I will be adding ported lt1 heads and cam to my car and i want to be able to plant down that power with gears. Any suggestions?

 

Sounds like you have an A4, go with 3.73's. If you have an M6 go with 4.10's

 

Well, 3.73s will give you 15% increased rear wheel torque. With the heads and cam you should have adequate power to use the gears effectively.JMHO
