I'm going to be changing out my opti and was just wondering what gaskets I will need, I am going to get a new water pump gasket but was just wondering if there is any other ones I'll need.

For the water pump there are two gaskets for the two sides. If I remember correctly there are two O-rings that slide over the opti shaft. Thats what I remeber when I did the swap for a new one. Have fun!

I would recommend replacing the opti seal while you are there and possibly the water pump drive seal also. You can get a timing cover gasket kit from Fel-pro for $15.00. The opti seal is easy, do a search on the water pump drive seal if it is not installed properly you will have a big oil leak.

Combine the previous 2 posts and you've got them all. 2 wp gaskets, 2 o-rings for the wp ds, 2 timing cover seals. Don't rip the seal pushing it over the wp ds. I use the cone shaped cap from a bottle of gear lube placed onto the wp ds to protect the seal.
