have some hooker ceramic coated super comps ready to go on a 97 lt1 z28.
what gaskets should i use? i have some new factory gm exhaust manifold gaskets, the metal ones. or the ones i got with the headers.
which ones would work best? i'm leaning towards the gm gaskets. thanks

Felpro 1406 here as well. The steel GM gasket works well with the rigid cast manifolds, the headers are much more flexible, needing a softer gasket, been there.

 

I have had the best luck with the FelPro replacement gaskets coated with the non-hardening Permatex gasket sealer. I apply the Permatex liberally around each port.
