I think most people that get such high mileage are all goung either under the speed limit or just on the speed limit... unlike most drivers which go OVER Last trip I made was 6mpg because my o2s disconnected from the harnesses lol.

Not to thread hijack, but headers do increase MPGs? I thought they would worsen? What about 1.7 rockers? Back in my GTP days, going from stock 1.6s to 1.9 rockers, gas mileage increased a bit.

Anyway, sorry carry on.

I get 16 NO MATTER WHAT. Whether I beat it like Michael Jackson (lame, sorry) or drive like a blind grandma, I ALWAYS get 16 mpg

I got a solid 2-3 mpg gain with my headers. But thats provided I dont drive the car like it has headers. Even when I beat on the car though, it gets better mileage than when i would beat on it with the stock boat anchors. (i dont really beat on my car, but you get the idea).

The worst mileage i ever got was like 12 with the stock manifolds. I dont think i have gotten less than 15 ever since, even when i go to the track.

when i got 32 with mine i had the cruise set at 76 for 150 miles.

that was a somewhat blind calculation though, the numbers indicated that i was safely above 30, but i dont have an exact number. It couldnt have been any less than 31.

Talking Gas mileage

I have a 94 Z28 convertible with a stock LT1 and I get 18 - 19 around town. I drive somewhat aggressively so I think this is great.

I just put 13.X gallons in today and drove 175 miles or so. So thats around 13 mpg. Damn it all. That was mostly town driving though, with some highway. Maybe I'll hit 200 if I do more highway driving. My mpg wasn't that good before I did the stall either so I'm not sure how much that changed it.

Yours sounds right, the stall really changes thing. Also Highway driving makes a HUGE differance. 50% on the highway Time wise is very different that 50% on the highway distance. I think a lot of people are thinking "Time" when they say 50/50 highway/city (when in reality thats more like 80/20 highwy/city when you think of it in terms of distance)
