What gas mileage are you guys getting out of your LT1?

 

I get about 10 mpg in the city, about 18 mpg on the highway. I think my tune is pig rich, though.

 

Are you talking stock LT1s or any LT1? Are we talking about driving like grandma, or a 16 year old thats trying to impress his friends?

 

Are you talking stock transmission? A4 or 6 speed?

13-15 MPG with a mix of city and highway driving. It is amazing how much more fuel I burn by running a small 2800 stall torque converter.

 

I get about 26 mpg on the highway doing 75mph. Not sure about city driving.

 

16mpg or so freeway, in a 90 K5 Blazer

 

My personal best is 27mpg mix city and highway over 170 miles, stock and granny footin it.

 

260-300 a tank when I first bought totally stock and drove like grandma.

220-250 with hot cam kit , headers , CAI and cat back. Drove it much more aggressively.

200-230 with LE2 heads and LE1e cam , I am still working out bugs and on the tune. It still has the stock 3.42s for now.

I usually put in about 12-13 gallons when I fill it.

 

I have a bolt-on LT1. I seldom drive it on the highmay, mainly city, where it gets anywhere from 18-20mpg. Its making my Grand Prix look bad.

 

An A4 stock LT1 with small bolt ons like exhaust, headers ect

 

about 21 w/ a mix of city/hwy and pretty aggressive driving.

Open roads I get about 25 mpg.

I am wondering tho if O2 sensors are "wear parts", and should be replaced periodically??? (I've got 75K miles now)

I just got 223 miles from 14.5 gallons mostly city. I wanted to fill it up, but I was thirsty and only had $50.
