OK, it appears to be some kind of brace and is located above the panhard bar. It bolts up to the car on the driver side, and to the same bracket as the panhard bar on the passenger side. Will I have problems if I remove this? I need to remove it for clearance for dual exhaust.

 

that sounds like the panhard bar bracket brace, if you remove it, it is likely that the panhard bracket will flex and/or rip off the car

 

Not sure about this, but could it be the tunnel brace ? It is used to strengthen the floorplan and reinforce the driveshaft tunnel ? If so I wouldnt remove that.
