PERFORMER RPM LT4 SEMI-CNC CYLINDER HEAD
FOR GM LT4 ENGINES
Designed as a stock replacement for 1995 and 1996 LT4 engines, Performer RPM LT4 heads are also a
performance upgrade for all 1992-1997 LT1 engines. They come with fully CNC-machined combustion
chambers and CNC-blended, as-cast ports. The 54cc combustion chambers retain the stock LT4
compression ratio of 10.8:1 and will raise the compression on an LT1 to 10.4:1.

How could anyone possibly know the answer to the question, when no one has been able to buy them? The Edelbrock LT1 heads are "dogs" IMHO. The LT1/LT4 manifolds look like stockers, possibly with a loss of plenum volume due to the "air gap" concept...... who the he!! knows?

What to expect from Edelbrock heads and manifold?

Parts that cost a good buck and don't live up to their advertised hype maybe?

I agree. Edelbrock's reputation isn't as good with the LT1/LS1 crowd as it is with the SBC guys. I just don't think they do enough research, especially market research.

No flow numbers are a clue.

If they were better than stockers, Edelbrock would advertise them with a percentage of increased flow. Lt1 heads normally flow less than smlblk vortec heads, so Edelbrock should have made their LT1's at 185cc volume and with at least 235cfm of flow. Only an unrepairable set of heads would warrant the possibility of edelbrocks. Who buys new stock heads anyway?
