What exactly can i expect soundwise with headers.

I have a corsa catback with a cutout and I was wondering what exactly I can expect by getting headers. Ive listened to ls1sounds.com and I don't many before and after. Can anyone describe sound tone, deepness, as well as loudness. Also tell the changes at idle along with cruising and wot. I am pretty interested in Jet hot long tubes.

Can anyone describe the conversion with cats and the conversion without cats?

I don't want to get any legal trouble for not having cats. I hear it is a huge fine. Will excessive noise be a problem if i close my cutout and don't have any cats with the long tubes?

Also, if I do do the conversion, is there any point in doing dual cats again on my 97 or should i just do single?

i think overall they make a car sound a lot more like a dragster, and less like a car you would see driving around on the street.

Headers = Quiet, smoother sounding idle and louder everywhere else.
