I always read people talking about reading their duty cycles, 02 readings, and so on. What exactly are you using to do this? The $2000 scan tool that the dealer has? I would LOVE to be able to do all that but that tool is kinda outta my price range.

I use my HPP3 with the scan cartridge, works great. I still use it for the programming function for different tire sizes and the cooling fan function. I leave the tuning stk. now.

I use datamaster on both of my 93's.

Freescan isn't too bad, but it's not nearly as in depth as Datamaster, nor does it have many of the neat features of Datamaster.

There's also autotap, a whole slew of hand held scanners, and Scanmaster too.

I am using the Scanmaster, A Boost Guage and an Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge. Here is a pic of how I have mine mounted:

You really don't need to monitor everything all the time. I use datamaster and my wideband for tuning purposes and then I just have a buncha aftermarket guages to monitor all the important things like oil pressure, water temp, fuel pressure etc. If I wanted to monitor all the time though I would DEFINATELY get a scanmaster. Its by far one of the cheapest and easiest solutions to all time data monitoring.

Yeah, we think we're on the right track with the tune now. I should be running a new revised (started from scratch) tune tomorrow morning. I've pretty much ruled out anything mechanical, short of a leakdown/compression test. Time shall tell. Although at this point it's looking like the cars done for the year on the track at least.

Still have the 1.7 rocker swap to do once it's running right though!!!
