what else could it be???

I just changed my opti. The car wouldnt start, just kept turning over, and had died while i was driving. It was producing no spark. Well, i changed the opti, and now its sparking, but its not turning over or starting at all. checked all the plugs a bunch of times so i know they are good, and there are no missing wires or anything....i hate this, im so frustrated and i need my car this week....any ideas of what it could be

Have you checked your fuel pressure. Maybe it's not getting fuel.

Sure you got the opti indexed correctly when you installed it? Sure it's not flooded or something (check a couple of easy plugs for excess fuel)? Intake elbow and MAF connected?

The dowel pin has to be in the correct hole. If not, the computer may be firing the cylinders at the wrong time. Kinda like misaligning a distributor in an older car.

i just saw shoeboxes response to one of my earlier posts about the coil wire. I tried testing with a multimeter on the coil wire and got .3 once, and nothing the next time...but, then again, im getting spark. I have no idea...

If you did not pay particular attention to how the opti went on, then it's probably on wrong. It should be like this.
