What does the -0.600 stands for? see inside

SBChevy Hi-Tech P.R. (-0.600") STD O.E. HYD roller lifter

Calling the experts for this dumb question but what is the -0.600 stand for?

im throwin out a guess here but my guees would be good to .600" of lift
thats just a guess though

it means -600 lift, you need to find some 1200 lift rockers to make up for the fact that... you know what, nevermind.
