Leave the Pacecrappers alone. Skip the Macs they have allot of issues. Leaks and fitment problems. Edelbrocks are the way to go. Trouble free install

Are you bias towards one way or the other, midlengths or long tubes??? I would just save a lil more money and get some SLP or AS&M shorties or some Jet hot long tubes.

i really want mids...but are those SLP shorties (13/4) good? i figured shorties would give me the least power & flow.

Well seeing that you live in Chicago, you're restricted by emissions. But if you have a hookup or are in one of the neighboring counties that dont have emissions, go with LTs.

I have a set of shorty MACs. Really nice for plug and wire access (from what I remember, the damn motor has been out for almost a year and a half!).

Anyway, I've had nothing but bad experiences with Pacesetter products. Never anything for the Z, but my S10 has a Pacesetter cat-back and headers. Giant pile. Go with the MACs or save for some AS&M.

I went on your cardomain site, and It says youll be getting macs and using the y-pipe you have now. Im not sure that it will mate up to the headers compared to the stock manifolds, and the mac's usually come with a y-pipe but you could probably order it without it I assume.

b-stevens...i meant a same high flow y (like the same size that the macs come with) The aftermarket y i have right now i love but it bolts to the 2 bolt stock manifolds and the macs along with many others are a 3 bolt....i wish i could find some nice mids that had a 2 bolt so i could still use my y i have on there now...Anyone know?
