A tall stack of washers (around the stud) and a nut.... then just turn until you get the stud pulled out. Make sure you have enough thread engagement into the nut... don't want to strip the threads out.

Are you talking about LT1 studs? They SCREW in? They're NOT pressed in? [just use a deep socket.... ]

Exactly - deep well socket. That's how my stockers came out, and the new Comp ones went in.

A 6 point deep well socket and a large 1/2" drive ratchet or an impact if they're stubborn. If all you don't have the aforementioned socket, try a 6pt spark plug socket.

Red face

Whoa jimminy!! My apologies Trans Am!!

I post on three boards and owning a LS1, LT1 and many gen1 small-blocks, I usually answer and ask question in 4 of the forums on this board alone. No excuse... I should have paid alot more attention to the question. Again, my apologies for the incorrect info and I hope you didn't follow my advice.... although I think you would have figured it out real quick like. No excuses on my part... my bad.

Thumbs up

Glad to hear you have everything in hand though!
Yes, I agree... air tools are a god send. A little addictive too.
