Opti Question

I did a search, and didn't find a sure answer on this. I should know this one, but Im not 100% sure. So...

When switching from a 93 opti, to a 95+ vented opti...is there anything i need to do besides just staright up switch the to parts?

How much would a conversion like this cost??

is it worth it? cause i hate this 93 optispark.

I see zero point in the conversion, no vented is reliable, my stock unit lasted 10 years, 1 water pump, a coolant line went and killed it. Also if you look in the new GM High Tech about the thunder chciken build up, they have after market timing chains for 93-94 cars.

My buddu Jon4Z has 80K on his original in his 94 z28 and his car stil runs raped. Why does every one hate the non vented optis, they are just as reliable as 95+, infact 95+ seem to go out just as much as 92-9 style no vented. The only reason not to keep the 92-94 non vented was because the timing chain restraints, but that no longer exists, the dowel pin on cams can be taken care of.
