woah - color me stupid
So I get to just block the drive, swap and wire the pump - sweet!

 

good ole' 50 cent piece and jb weld here...

 

cool.. so i got a freeze plug and tried bashing that sombitch in, but it wouldnt fit, so i used my grinder and a 40 grit flap wheel and shaved it down, then once it fit i jb welded it in..

I just put the original shaft through the seal but with no coupling to the EWP. Figured it didn't leak that way before, probably won't now either...
