What do you block off your WP drive with?

im doing an EWP, and im wondering what you block off the hole in your timing cover from the WP drive with?

i have it from a very good source that you can use just a 50 cent piece and some JB weld, but im wondering if theres anything "prettier" to use... not to mention i dont have a 50 cent piece handy..

Go to the parts store, get a freeze plug and JB weld it in.

Take a 1/2 pipe plug tap and run it in the hole. Buy a pipe plug, add some thread sealant and screw it in.

I just took the coupling off and left the water pump shaft sticking out of the timing cover. That is until I do H/C.

waiting - I'll be doing an EWP and would like to leave the timing cover sealed if possible.
Will it hurt/leak?

Also do I need a shorter belt now? Anyone know the part number?

No, the LT1 waterpump is not belt driven.
