What to do with vent line to opti when switching to Vortec elbow?

I swapped out my factory elbow for a vortech one because it had a large rip in it. The factory one had a rubber air vent tube that ran to the Opti (i believe?) and i was wondering what i should do with the line now that it is not being used with the elbow. Do i just secure it to the engine somewhere and allow air to flow through it on its own or should modify the elbow or use one of the intake lines i plugged from deleting the AIR pump? Those of you that have this intake, let me know what you did and anyone else that may have any ideas can chime in as well too.

Between the MAF and the elbow take a Awl & punch a small 1/16 hole in the rubber fabric tube/hose. Then push in the fitting. Worked for me.

I am actually looking to do the same thing because my elbow is ripped. I believe they sell two different ones, one with the hole for the vented optis. If you already have it though I would just punch a small hole. Should work fine.
