What do these hoses do/go to?
I noticed some hoses on my car are cracked open pretty much. They are labled as #5 and #14 in the following pic:

Can they cause any ill effects until I replace them?
thanks

This computer sucks but it looks to be the evap purge and lines running from the tank and to the canister. Shouldn't hurt anything but the car might smell like gas if its left overnight in a garage or something. Of course I always thought thats what Camaros were suposed to smell like.

#5 costs $5.32 and is part # 10105324
#14 costs $2.61 and is part # 12556259
I got mine from Dal Slabaugh. Might want to also check the rubber elbow hose that comes off the driver side of the intake PCV valve. That piece goes up to the front of the intake if I remember right? It's been a while...I got that hose too.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I somehow had missed Injuneer's reply. I've got a really rough idle, especially after it warms up. Could the vac loss from these hoses cause that?

The same thing happened to me with #5. It melted. You can use a spark plug boot to replace it or if you just happen to have a wrecked TT 3000gt you can cut the clutch vacuum assist line for a perfect fit.
