ok guys what parts do i need to order to run the cc306 what rrs and all that stuff. what size rrs would i need? springs? push rods?... what do i need? Please let me know thanks

Well I got the chromoly pushrods from comp cams, the 918 beehive springs from comp cams, 1.6 rr's from compcams, retainers and valve locks from comp cams, you'll need a new timing chain and the gaskets. I think thats all if im not mistaken. also its good to have ur heads ported for this cam. Dont go cheap on your valvetrain!!

 

springs... behives, pushrods- comp Hi-techs(7.2") 1.6 RR...promags... 7/16th studs..and the studs...front timing gasket set, new timing chain..do a search its been asked a MILLLION times..

 

about how much in parts are we looking at here... im going to go with some aftermarket heads down the road i just want something i can do in steps. because if i did the aftermarket heads and cam all at once it would kill me.

Maybe the admin guys can do a sticky or a something that corrals all the popular cam/valvetrain combos, so the search part isn't so time consuming.
