GM lists LT4 keepers and retainers so I used them. Don't know if you absolutely have to or not.
retainers are 12495492
keepers are 12495503

I'd go bigger than lt4 springs os if you ever do a cam bigger than LT4 hotcam (pretty much everything) you won't have to swap valve springs again

well id like to do a cc503 or a hot cam in the future but im on a budget right now so unless there is another cheap alternative im going to go with lt4 springs.

I would wait and get the hotcam kit. It comes with all the parts you have said you wanted. Cam, springs and rockers.

I will also be installing my 1.6 rr soon and also using lt4 springs, and the lt4 retainers(they were inc.w/the rockers)and a cam change isn,t in future plans, thus sticking w/ the sa rockers.
