What do I need to make a LT1 run in another car?

I replaced my motor in my 97 Z28 and have a computer and the harness.
It came with the engine.
What do I need to make this work in another car?
Any body have any links to people that have done this?
Just something I might do next year.
I want to get all the parts I need now.
Thanks,

Chris.

I mean electrical.
How to hook the computer up to the battery.
And what else I need to get it running.
Other that cooling and fuel.

Thanks,
Chris.

A Chevy.
Nothing set in stone right now.
I'm going to rebuild my old engine and put it back in my 97 Z28.
I would like to use the old engine in something down the road.
Thanks,

Chris.

Re: What do I need to make a LT1 run in another car?

After I wrecked my 97 formula I put the motor in my 92 s10.

The electrical was the hardest part. Get wiring diagrams for both vehicles. Go to http://shbox.com/1/schematics_wiring.html for the fbody ones. You will also need to delete the Vehicle Anit Theft System (VATS). You can either have someone do it or buy lt1edit and do it yourself. For the most part, it is just getting a fused power source to the right places.

Bottom Line: Perseverence, Perseverence, Perseverence. It took me 8 months, start to finish (I put in a cam, rockers, etc.) working nearly every Friday and Saturday on it all day. Plan on problems and get a big hammer.

That's got to be a sick ride.
I rode in a ranger with a chevy 350 in it with a little cam.
Dam Ford felt tough.
Thanks agine,

Chris.
