what do i need to beat a ZO6?
what do i need to beat a ZO6?
so far i have whats in my sig, what im going to be getting is, hopefully AS&M headers, this cam (230/236 duration, .544"/.555", 112lsa), either port my heads or get new ones, 1.6 rockers, new lifters and springs, and new head gaskets, prob a 75 shot from TNT...what else can i get or is that already enough?
plus i have 3.73 gears if that isnt in the sig...

id say with that cam/heads package and headers you should be all set. at the local track the Z06's run about low-mid 12's. i think that set up will get you close, then with the 75 shot you really should have no problem....
.... besides traction!! thats probably going to be your biggest problem after all the mods!! ive played around with a few Z06's off the track and for some reason they always make me feel like im standing still when we both take off!!

cam, headers, heads, lifters, rockers, valve springs, intake, and 54mm TB, would put me to about 380-400rwhp? then with the spray around 450-475rwhp?
please let me know..

As far as what else... computer work mostly. Also, the little things help out, plugs, wires, etc...
Oh yeah, the reason the vettes make you feel like you're sittin still is traction control. And I don't mean the TCS they stuck in the LT1 cars that threw your foot off the pedal. Especially on the 03's with the electronic throttle control, you don't even feel it.

dont have traction control, plus yea i will be getting NGK nt55 or w/e and the wires that go over the valve covers..to make my car look nice..but yea when i get the cams and heads done i will be gettign another tune from the dyno run;s..
