what are the long term and short term fuel corrections (BLM's?) on a brand new car running right off the lot... well, maybe not brand new, but 100 miles old or so. are they really at 128? or is it perfectly normal to be running around 120 - 125 ?

128 means zero correction, the PCM allows from I believe 108-160 stock.

I'd say it wouldn't be unusual to see corrections in the range of +/- 5%, so anything in the range of 122 - 134 would not be enough to indicate a problem, or the result of a significant modification. I would be suspicious if ALL the cells were on the same side of 128, say all of them above or all of them below.
