what to do with cam gear hole in cover

sence i have the gm847 cam it dose not have that gear on the front of it like the stock cam to run the water pump and sence iam using a ew how do u close that hole? they make something u press in there?

either weld it up..or a simple fix is to find a freeze plug and put it in there with a little sealant around it
