what to do ?

I have about 1000.00 to spend on my car it has just basic boltons like borla cat back , tb bypass ,underdrive pulleys, hypertech programmer the car is a m6 it has run 13.39 @ 104.7 and has made 296 rwhp a friend says to go with long tube headers now but i was thinking rear suspension like lca`s torque arm and panhard bar because the car just doesn`t hook to good i ran those times with a 2.09 60 ft. time so i was thinking if i could get it down in the 1.90 range it might be knocking on the 12`s . Thank for any input

I am assumming you have an LS1 with those times....if not then wow. For a Grand you can probably get Longtubes, 4.10 gears and some sticky tires....maybe a little more than a grand, but close.

you should be able to buy the long tubes, lca and the pan hard bar or be real close for $1000.00 I would do it in that order.

Re: what to do ?

pacesetter longtubes coated- 400 shipped
4.10 gears with install kit- 300 shipped
2 bfg drag radials 300 shipped
total= 1000

Of course you will most likely need to have the gears installed (unless you can do it) which is about 300 dollars and you will need small stuff like plugs/wires, possibly new o2 sensors, o2 extensions and depending on what y-pipe you have then you may also need one of them.
