What did i break? pics inside

while pulling off my driver side manifold, i kinda caught this silverish thing above the oil filter, not sure what it is or how to fix it

Oil pressure sensor.

that would be your oil pressure sending unit. you will need to get the rest of the old one out of the block and put a new one on before you start. other wise you will not have oil pressure and it will leak or **** all over the gound.

thats what i kinda figured it was, shoebox if i didnt get a response from this post my next step was to check out your site, thanks for the quick response guys. also i should probably drain the oil before i change it and its only held onto by that nut that in the block right? should i change that after i put my LTs in as well? thanks

There won't be any oil draining out when you remove the sensor. Just a drip or two. It is a pressure passage. Most of the oil will already be drained back to the pan.

is this still true even if the car is raised in the front? also this is the correct part number right? since its a 93 its the first design.
