If you spend a lot of time at the track with slicks... a 12-bolt is a good suggestion. But if you're like me: I'm only interested in what my car can do on the street with DR's. So, no need to touch the rearend until it breaks.

As far as the 12-bolt... I would keep that in mind as something you probably will have to replace sooner or later, but I have seen people run heavily modified cars with the stock 10-bolt. On the other hand... I've see people mess 'em up with a stock car and slicks.
