what clutch disc/LT4 PP combos work?
I think my clutch is needing replaced real soon. my options are the SLP pp or the LT4 pp which i believe is the same part.. right? only difference being the holes in the SLP version. then i cant decide if i should just go with the LT1 disc or another brand like mccloed or maybe spec... any others. which SLP/LT4 pp and disc combos do you guys have? thanks
A few of my friends have had very good luck with a centerforce PP, and lt4 disk. You will also need to install an adj master so that the clutch fully disengages. Without the adj you will fry the centerforce (like everyone on this board).
With 373s, and that clutch, a buddy tons of 6k drops on MT streets and it will hold quite well. 1.70'
I am personally using the SLP set up. It is great for the street, but at the track it doesnt like anything above ~4500 drops on slicks. Best i have pulled is a 1.78, but my car is lowered and has a bit more gear (4.33).
