What is this Camaro worth?

1997 Z28, automatic, all power, leather seats with 75,000 miles. Excellent to mint condition. One owner, always garaged.
Is $7500 to much?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for the input! Actually, I'm thinking about buying this Camaro, not selling one. I'm going to look at it today.

Geesh.. 26 views, one reply. Anybody else?

Any particular problems inherent to this model year? Things to look out for?
Thanks

Nothing to look out for as opposed to any other LT1 car. I'd say $7000-7500 would be fair.

7500 I'd try to talk him down a bit. Not to rain on your parade.... in this area, the cars don't hold value quite that well. Maybe it's different in your area.

North GA... I'd feel comfortable paying around $7k if in really, really nice shape. If none's been done, you'll need a full tuneup to get the car back to 100%.

Check fluids (quality AND levels), drive quality, turn a/c on and creep forward while turning the wheels sharp, throttle response, etc. These cars have too many bugs not to make sure you avoid all you can when you're buying one.

I appreciate all the feed back, that helps.
Here's the skinny.
Camaro is exceptionally clean inside and out. 75K miles. Sebring Silver. It will need tires in about a year probably. A/C ice cold. Shifts smooth. Brake pads and rotors all the way around put on about a year ago. Steering feels tight. Car is bone stock. No dents, dings, scratches, etc.
Never raced. Seemed to pull hard for a bone stock 285 HP car. At least, I think that is what HP this Camaro was rated at. Correct me if i'm wrong.

No new parts except tires and battery. He has never had to replace starter, alternator, radiator, water pump or anything. Still the original struts and shocks. He indicated the shocks are Bilstein, not sure if thats true or not.

Here is what concerns me. My 3rdGen oil pressure is 45-48 cold idle and 30-32 hot idle in gear. This Camaro had about 40 PSI at 45 mph (hot), however, drop to 20 in gear at 750 rpm. He is the original owner and said it has been like this from day one. Runs 5W30 Pennzoil dino oil.
He won't budge below $7500.
What do you all think?
Thanks again everybody!
Chris

Nice price, I would set it at that price and maybe let it go for $7100.

Stop screwing around. If you want the car give the man his price or someone else will. JMHO

I tend to agree with Bubba.

As a reference is there not Edmunds and other used car pricing guides on websites that have up to date pricing of cars by option, mileage, condition, etc? I haven't tracked the rpices, but $7500 for a decent 97 seems good to me.
